Loved our quick lunch here! Comfort Scandinavian food in a throwback supper club environment. Very neat place. And such nice volunteers serving the meals. And people at neighboring tables introducing themselves. Even bought a tub of Norwegian romegrot to-go. And peaked into the library and grill carving rooms.

Sons of Norway is truly a gem in downtown Fargo very near downtown post office. There is a parking lot across from front door to park in. The Sons of Norway exists as an organization that welcomes people of any heritage but promotes Scandinavian heritage. They have meetings events here and a library and a bar the Troll Lounge. Inside the place looks like a very old school supper club. It has lots of homey and ethnic art decor. I really like going here and should go more often. From Norwegian language class to karaoke or live bands this place has it. I have been to community and private events here too always a nice welcoming place. Lunch served here. Sometimes lutefisk too. That's a warning haha. Don't miss this place its a classic downtown place.

Enchanting place with a lot to offer. We had a most delicious lunch with desert in their cozy, fireplace lit restaurant before we went to the Troll Lounge and enjoyed some live music. Afterwards one of them showed us the library where we saw a wonderful collection of books and artifacts. This place is a treasure!

Ethnically decorated rooms, great Swedish waffle dinner and an entertaining accordion band! All the coffee you can drink, too. A wonderful evening.

The service is friendly and quick. The food is legendary. Entertainment, such as their weekly trivia is great fun. The chairs and barstools are comfortable. The rest rooms are clean as a whistle.
